Our counseling ministry is under the direction of Dr. David Shaw. He holds a doctorate in Pastoral Counseling and is a member of several counseling associations.

DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. It's a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling and hear valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce.
The group meets in Rm D306 each Wednesday at 6:30pm. Each Wednesday night meeting covers a specific topic and is "self-contained". For more information, call the church at 770-582-2479. Child care is available by request.
DC4K is a program that helps children in grades one through six who are experiencing difficulties that are associated with separation or divorce in the family. Classes take place in a cozy room setting, where kids feel loved and secure. Safekeepers (trained leaders), are sensitive to the needs and feelings of children in a separation or divorce situation, and help them find a deeper Connection2Christ that will enable children to feel His presence, comfort and peace, during this difficult time. Summer Daze is an exciting activity-based camp designed for kids 2 1/2 years old (born by 12-31-16) through those who have completed 3rd grade. We will explore the days of creation through music, science, art, outdoor play, centers and special events, including an amazing animal encounter. Our campers will be welcomed into a fun, warm, and safe environment where they can explore, create, wonder, grow and learn. Elevate will resume Wednesday, January 9th at 7pm in the Student Center. Elevate is a high-energy, weekly night of worship for students in Middle and High School. At Elevate, our students will hear engaging, inspiring worship and teaching that will fill them with passion and for Jesus and help them learn and grow to be more like him.
All 4 year olds through 5th graders are invited to join us for our Countdown to Christmas event at PCBC on Wednesday, December 12th. The event will take place from 6:30-7:30pm. We'll play games, give away prizes, and even enjoy a visit from a very special guest. Countdown to Christmas is completely FREE, and no pre-registration is required. It'll be such a blast celebrating Jesus, so don't forget to bring a friend or two!
December 9, at 5:30 pm is our Christmas Night of Worship, featuring the Adult Choir, Band, Orchestra, 9:30 and 11:00 Praise Teams, and our Kids Praise Choir. The Christmas Story will be shared through song and video. You and your family and friends will be blessed as we worship our Savior together!

We are excited to announce that PCBC’s Adult Choir has been invited to spread the gospel through song in NYC this Nov. 16-20. We are honored to be part of a 300 voice mass choir at Carnegie Hall, premiering a new Christmas Worship project on November 17th. The trip is open to singers as well as non-singers. This is a great family missions trip, and there are work and fun opportunities for all ages. On June 20th-27th, we'll put on the same VBS program our PCBC kids enjoyed 2 weeks before. We'll have about 75-80 elementary school children (rising K through 5th graders) from the local area attend.
