Here at Peachtree Corners, we want to help you connect with others and create lasting community. No matter what your schedule, we offer a variety of options to develop friendships and your spiritual life - on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights and several stops along the way.

Life Groups

We know it's important to be connected, but it's hard to build lasting friendships. At Peachtree Corners, we’re trying to make it easier for you to find people who share your interests. We know that when you get together with people and have fun, you’ll begin to grow into a strong community that serves and grows together. Life Groups allow you to connect with others and engage in a Bible study that's applicable to your everyday life. We believe as you study God's Word, your life will change, and you will become equipped to impact the world around you. Life Groups are offered at both 9:30 and 11:00 am.

Our Sunday worship service is the primary way that our church gathers together in worship. Coming together reveals the beauty and diversity of God's children. When we gather our hearts to praise Jesus because of all of the blessings that He has given to us. Our 9:30 am worship services features a choir and orchestra, while our 11:00 am services features a worship band.

We provide a variety of options for adults (and children) throughout the week.  Not only are there opportunities to get together as a community, but also to find help and assistance you may need growing in your faith, connecting with other individuals at the church, using your gifts and abilities to serve, and getting plugged in to ministries at the church.  While most of the opportunities are available on Wednesday, there are others on different days of the week that may fit your schedule and needs better. Click on the opportunities below to see more information.

• Counseling

Our counseling ministry is under the direction of Dr. David Shaw. He holds a doctorate in Pastoral Counseling and is a member of several counseling associations.

At Peachtree Corners Baptist Church, we are committed to serving God by helping others. Christian counseling starts with the understanding that the Bible is more than a book of facts; it is truth intended to make a difference in the way we live.

It is our belief that Scripture speaks to all of life’s problems, but that sometimes we all need the careful thought and prayerful wisdom of a trained and caring professional to offer encouragement, support, and insight during life’s difficult times of trial. Ultimately, the Bible points us to a relationship with a Person – Jesus Christ. The academic degrees our counselors have pursued in order to serve others are nothing compared with the surpassing worth of knowing Christ. Our greatest joy is to direct others to Him.

Call the church office at 770-448-1313 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Counseling Services include Abuse Counseling, Anger Management, Pre-Marital Counseling, Anxiety, Depression, Divorce Recovery, Eating Disorders, Grief Counseling, Marriage Counseling, Parenting, Personal Growth, Conflict Intervention

• Happy Hearts (caring for loved ones)

Founder, Dianne McGarey was led to organize the Happy Hearts Club (HHC) at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church after losing her husband of 26 years to Alzheimer's. Dianne had "been there" and she, armed with a troop of friendly volunteers, started the HHC in October, 2008. HHC is dedicated to the encouragement of those who are selflessly caring for loved ones at home.

Currently, HHC is Directed by Angi Lewallen, a RN who works at a local hospital. She started with Happy Hearts in October, 2008. She was a caregiver to her mother and father, both of whom had cancer, and her grandmother who had Alzheimer's.
